Sometimes the client prefers or expects the induction to take time, sometimes for the sake of showmanship the hypnotist wants a longer induction, but there is no absolute need for this to be so. I was just explaining something very similar in my Hypnosis Practice Group about how doing inductions are less like doing an incantation and more like giving a massage. Wow. There’s some great stuff there. I totally agree with you, Taylor! I was just explaining something very similar in my Hypnosis Practice Group about how doing inductions are less like doing an incantation and more like giving a massage.
